e) Do not open the battery. Danger of
shortcircuiting.
Protect the battery against heat
e.g., also against continuous sun
irradiation and fire. There is a danger
of explosion.
f) In case of damage and imporper use of
the battery, vapours may be emitted.
Provide for fresh air and seek medical
help in case of complaints. The vapours
can irritate the respiratory system.
g) Use the battery only in conjunction with
your Union Special sewing machine. This
measure alone protects the battery against
dangerous overload.

6. Service

a ) Have your sewing machine serviced by
a qualified repair person using only
identical replacement parts. This will
ensure that the safety of the power tools is
maintained.

7. Intended Use

The sewing machine is intended for sewing and
closing of filled bags.
Each machine is only allowed to be used as
foreseen. The foreseen use of the particular
machine is described in paragraph "MACHINE
DESCRIPTION" of this instruction manual. Another
use, going beyond the description, is not as
foreseen.

IDENTIFICATION OF MACHINES

Each UNION SPECIAL machine is identified by a
style number, which is stamped into the style plate
affixed to the machine. The serial number is fixed
into the casting of the machine housing.
e) Öffen Sie den Akku nicht. Es besteht die
Gefahr eines Kurzschlusses.
Schützen Sie den Akku vor Hitze, z. B.
auch vor dauernder Sonneneinstrahlung,
und Feuer. Es besteht Explosionsgefahr.
f) Bei Beschädigung und unsachgemäßtem
Gebrauch des Akkus können Dämpfe
austreten. Führen Sie Frischluft zu und
suchen Sie bei Beschwerden einen Arzt
auf. Die Dampfe können die Atemwege
reizen.
g) Verwenden Sie den Akku nur in Verbindung
mit Ihrer Union Special Nähmaschine. Nur
so wird der Akku vor gefährticher Überlastung
geschützt.
6. Service
a ) Lassen Sie Ihre Nähmaschine nur von
qualifiziertem Fachpersonal und nur mit
Original-Ersatzteilen reparieren. Damit wird
sichergestellt, dass die Sicherheit und
Funktion der Nähmaschine erhalten bleibt.
7. Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Die Nähmaschine ist bestimmt zum Nähen
von Säcken und Zunähen von gefüllten
Säcken.
Sie darf nur ihrer Bestimmung gemäß verwendet
werden. Der bestimmungsgemäße Gebrauch der
einzelnen Maschine ist im Abschnitt "MASCHINEN-
BESCHREIBUNG" der Betriebsanleitung beschrieben.
Eine andere, darüber hinausgehende Benutzung ist
nicht bestimmungsgemäß.

BEZEICHNUNG DER MASCHINEN

Jede UNION SPECIAL Maschine hat eine Typen-
nummer, die in das an der Maschine befestigte
Typenschild eingeprägt ist. Die Seriennummer ist in
den Guß eingelassen.
