1.
Attach the Brad Nailer to the air supply at the Air Inlet (72). Start the compressor
and set the pressure at no more than 120 PSI.
2.
To fire, place the Driver Guide (51) on the workpiece. Once the Driver Guide en-
gages the workpiece and is depressed, pull the Trigger (43) one time. One Brad
will be fired into the workpiece.
3.
Allow the Brad Nailer to recoil from the workpiece. Pushing the Brad Nailer down
hard onto the workpiece is not required, the tool will do the work.
4.
When the job is complete, disconnect the Brad Nailer from the air supply and com-
pletely empty the Magazine Assembly. Attempt to fire a Brad into a piece of scrap
material to ensure that the unit is disconnected and incapable of firing any Brads.
5.
When storing, lock the Brad Nailer in a clean, dry location, safely out of the reach
of children.
Caution. Always wear ANSI approved safety goggles when using or performing mainte-
nance on the Brad Nailer. Do not allow children or bystanders in the area where
the Brad Nailer is being used or worked on.
1.
When a Brad gets jammed in the Brad Nailer, first disconnect the air supply, and
then disengage and empty the Magazine Assembly.
2.
Attempt to fire the Brad Nailer into a piece of scrap material, to ensure it is prop-
erly disconnected and incapable of firing before beginning any work on the Brad
Nailer.
3.
Using the included 3mm Hex Wrench, unscrew the three Bolts (46) that hold the
Driver Guide Cover (49) in place,
and remove it. This allows access
to the Driver Guide (51), the area
where a Brad will jam most often.
(See Figure 3)
4.
Use a pair of needle nose pli-
ers (not included) to remove the
jammed Brad. Make sure the
Driver Guide moves freely. Re-
place the Driver Guide Cover and
re-secure firmly with the three
Bolts.
5.
Reload the Magazine Assembly and reconnect the air supply to the Brad Nailer.
6.
Press the Driver Guide against a piece of scrap material and test fire the Brad Nailer
several times to ensure proper operation. If the Brad Nailer now works properly,
continue with the operation, otherwise have the tool repaired by a qualified service
technician.
