Separated the previous two-stage dial into a mode dial and mode lever
Lever shape has a nice movement and smoother two-position selection of shooting and replay
• Slanted zoom lever/shutter button
The entire lever section is slanted so that it fits the finger naturally when holding the camera
• Improvement of handling
Further evolution of the shape of the grip
Handling is greatly improved with an increase in the area that comes in contact with fingers
The additon of the electronic dial contributes to the high-class device finish
Production of a "virile" image by slimming the body

• Flat body
The basic silhouette is now almost completely flat apart from the lens barrel and grip section
Eliminated the rear LCD panel bump, which stuck out even when stored, to give a slim look
