1. Press Menu, SMS is displayed. Press
Select. Using  or , find SMS
settings and press Select.
2. Using , find SMS alert and press
Select.
3. Using  or , select Activated or
Deactivated and press Select.
4. Press Back to return to the previous
level.

Setting the length of SMS

1. Press Menu, SMS is displayed. Press
Select. Using  or , find SMS
settings and press Select.
2. Using , find SMS length and press
Select.
3. Using  or , select 160 or 612
characters and press Select.
4. Press Back to return to the previous
level.
Note: the standard size of SMS is 160
characters. You can set the length of a
message to 612 characters, but the
message will be sent in a maximum of 4
messages, each up to 160 characters.
