Base settings

Base melody

1. Press Menu. Using , access
Settings and press Select.
2. Using , access Base Settings and
press Select.
3. With Melody highlighted, press Select.
4. Using  or , highlight the desired
melody among the 5 suggestions.
Press Select to confirm.
5. Press Back to return to the previous
level.

Base ringing volume

1. Press Menu. Using , access
Settings and press Select.
2. Using , access Base Settings and
press Select.
3. Using , highlight Ringing volume
and Melody, press Select.
4. Using  or , display the desired
volume level. Five (5) levels are
suggested as well as Silence. Press
Select to confirm.
5. Press Back to return to the previous
level.

Dialing mode

Your TD251/252 is set on voice
frequencies. You need not normally
change this setting. The options are
Voice Frequencies or Decimals.
1. Press Menu. Using , access
Settings and press Select.
2. Using , access Base Settings and
press Select.
3. Using , access Dialing mode and
press Select.
4. Using  or , highlight Voice
Frequencies or Decimal number.
Press Select to confirm.
5. Press Back to return to the previous
level.

Callback mode

The callback duration of TD251/252 is
consistent with that required for your
country and operator and set at 100 ms
(Callback1).
1. Press Menu. Using , access
Settings and press Select.
2. Using , access Base Settings and
press Select.
3. Using , access Callback mode and
press Select.
4. Using  or , highlight Callback1
(100 ms) or Callback 2 (250 ms).
Press Select to confirm.
5. Press Back to return to the previous
level.

PIN code

The PIN code is used to modify certain
settings and for the subscription and
unsubscription of the base and handset.
The default setting is 0000, but you can
change it to create your own PIN code of
8 numbers maximum.
When you enter a PIN code, the display
shows "****".
