Press FONT to feed the paper to the starting position.
Feed the paper so the print head is located where you want the new auto load
position to be.
Press LF to feed the paper forward and MODE to feed the paper backward. This
is the micro feed operation.
After you have the paper at the position you want, hold down ON LINE and
press LF to make the current print head position the new auto load position. The
printer will beep twice to indicate that the new auto load position is set.
To clear the new auto load position and return to the one that you set previously
(using the above procedure), press ON LINE. To clear the currently set auto load
position and return to the standard position (1/6-inch from the top of the paper),
hold down ON LINE and press FONT.
Note:
The auto load position you set remains in effect until you turn the printer off. If you
want to save the auto load position in memory, press MODE instead of LF while
holding down ON LINE in the above step.

Saving a macro

Normally, any settings you make on the control panel are cleared when you turn the
printer off. Use the following procedure to save the current control panel settings so
that they are used whenever you turn the printer on.
Make the control panel settings you want.
Use ON LINE to put the printer off-line (ON LINE indicator is not lit).
Hold down FONT and then MODE. Keep both buttons held down until the
printer beeps twice.
Pressing FONT normally changes the font setting, so when you press it in the
above step, the next font will be indicated. Pressing MODE, however, returns the
font setting to what it was before you pressed FONT.
This procedure saves the following settings.
• Current font and print mode
• Quiet Mode status
These items can be set separately for the Standard mode and the IBM mode.

bips pour indiquer qu'une nouvelle position de chargement automatique a été
réglée.
Pour annuler la nouvelle position de chargement automatique et revenir à la
position que vous aviez réglé auparavant (en suivant les démarches ci-dessus),
appuyez sur ON LINE. Pour annuler la position de chargement actuelle et
revenir à la position de chargement standard (1/6 pouce à partir du haut du
papier), tenez la touche ON LINE enfoncée et appuyez sur FONT.
Remarque:
La position de chargement automatique réglée reste valide jusqu'à la mise hors
tension de l'imprimante. Si vous souhaitez conserver cette position en mémoire,
appuyez sur la touche MODE au lieu de la touche LF quand vous tenez la touche
ON LINE enfoncée à l'étape ci-dessus.
Sauvegarde des réglages du panneau de commande
Normalement, les réglages effectués sur le panneau de commande sont annulés
quand vous mettez l'imprimante hors tension. Si vous voulez sauvegarder les
réglages effectués sur le panneau de commande pour qu'ils soient rappelés chaque
fois que vous mettez l'imprimante sous tension, effectuez les démarches suivantes.
Effectuez les réglages souhaités sur le panneau de commande.
Mettez l'imprimante hors ligne avec la touche ON LINE (indicateur ON LINE
éteint).
Tenez la touche FONT enfoncée, puis la touche MODE. Tenez les deux touches
enfoncées jusqu'à ce que deux bips sonores soient émis par l'imprimante.
Normalement, le fait d'appuyer sur la touche FONT change la police de
caractères. Par conséquent, quand vous appuyez sur FONT à l'étape ci-dessus,
la police suivante est indiquée. Toutefois, quand vous appuyez sur MODE,
l'imprimante revient de nouveau à la police sélectionnée avant la pression sur la
touche FONT.
Quand vous effectuez cette opération, les réglages suivants sont sauvegardés.
• Police et mode d'impression en cours
• Etat du mode d'impression silencieux
Ces paramètres peuvent être réglés séparément pour le mode standard et le mode
IBM.
