6. Menu functions
To find out the distance from the charging station
to a remote area:
• State a distance that easily exceeds the true
distance. The maximum distance that can be
stated is 500 meters (1640 ft). State the value
100 % for Proportion for the area to which the
distance is to be measured. Place Automower in
the charging station and select Test OUT
(3-2-5). The mower will now leave the charging
station directly according to the stated direction.
The distance will be shown on the display,
stated in meters, as the mower runs. Stop the
mower after the required distance and read the
distance. Reset the Proportion value when
testing is finished.
Garden shape (3-3)
The Automower can be set according to three garden
shapes: Open, Normal and Complex.
This setting affects how the Automower covers a
working area when it mows. Above all it influences
the turning angles and how often the mower changes
direction. The Open setting optimizes the pattern of
movement for an open garden. If the garden contains
a lot of small areas linked with passages a better
function will be obtained with the Complex setting.
Select:
• Open (3-3-1)
for an open lawn area with few obstacles and no
passages.
• Normal (3-3-2)
for an average number of obstacles and/or
passages.
• Complex (3-3-3)
for a large lawn area and large number of
obstacles and/or passages.
