How the System Works

The Guardian
®
Indoor Pet Barrier System has been proven safe,
comfortable, and effective for pets at least 6 months old and over
5 pounds. The system can be used to keep your pet away from a
certain room, off of furniture, counter or table top, etc., by simply
placing the Barrier Transmitter near a doorway, under furniture
or on a counter or table. The system works by producing a
spherical radio signal from the Barrier Transmitter. Under normal
circumstances the signal can create a Barrier Area up to 12 feet in
diameter or a 6 foot radius from the Barrier Transmitter. Your pet
wears a Receiver Collar with Contact Points that touch his neck. The
Barrier Transmitter communicates with the Receiver Collar via the
radio signal. When your pet enters the Barrier Area a series of audible
tones will be heard from the Receiver Collar and a safe progressive
Static Correction will be delivered through the Contact Points to get
his attention until he leaves the Barrier Area. The progressive Static
Correction will get your pet's attention, but will not cause harm. It is
designed to startle, not to punish.

Hi, we just opened the box and I tried to scan, per instructions and not sure if that even worked. It looks like I need the user guide to set it up. Can you help please.
