Cooking rice and another dish

z Do not open the lid while cooking.

z Do not keep rice warm with the cooking plate
left inside.
z The cooking plate will be hot after cooking, so
be careful when removing.
z Do not tilt the cooking plate when removing.
Doing so may cause contents to spill out,
resulting in a burn.
z Once you remove the cooking plate, do not
return it to the inner pan.
Doing so may cause the rice to spoil or disturb
the keep warm function.
When cooking a dish by itself, without rice
1. Pour in water to the level shown in the
below table, set the cooking plate in the
inner pan, and close the lid.

1.0 L (5.5 cups) type
1.8 L (10 cups) type
2. Choose the [Slow Cook / Steam] key.
3. After 20 to 30 minutes, press the [Off /
Cancel] key once to turn the Keep
Warm lamp ON.
(When the cooking is not sufficient,
press the [Slow Cook / Steam] key.)
4. Check the result of the cooking and
take out the cooking plate.
5. Press the [Off / Cancel] key.
