Selecting the menu language
You can select a language for the on-screen display.

SETUP menu.

Selecting the country
You can select a country. If the Country setting is
changed, the Quick Setup starts again.

Press MENU, then press  or  to display
SETUP menu.

Press  or  to select Country.

Select Yes on the confi rmation screen, and then
press OK.

Press  or  to select the desired country.
Once the Country has been selected, you will
proceed to the Primary Subtitle Language,
Secondary Subtitle Language, Primary Audio
Language and Secondary Audio Language
settings, and then to the Auto Tuning settings.

Depending on the broadcast environment, this TV may
not be able to receive certain broadcasting in whole or
in part. Any guarantee of reception of broadcasting is
hereby disclaimed.
Changing the position
Enter the desired position number using the
Number buttons on the remote control.
You can also change the position by using PU or Pu.
The position will be displayed on the screen.
NOTE:
Changing positions between diff erent format channels
takes several seconds.

To display on-screen information such as channel,
input mode or stereo/mono signal, press
again to cancel.
Programming channels into the TV's channel
memory
• First, use the Auto Tuning function to preset all
the active channels in your area automatically.
Then, arrange the preset channels with the
Manual Tuning function so that you can tune into
English
only desired channels.
Singapore
• Use the Manual Tuning operation if desired
channels cannot be preset with the Auto Tuning
or if you would like to preset channels to specifi c
position numbers one by one.

From the SETUP menu, press  or  to select
Auto Tuning.

Press OK.
The Auto Tuning menu will appear.
Press or  to select Tuning Mode, Scan Type
or Auto Signal Booster and press  or  to
select an option.
Tuning Mode:
Press  or  to select DTV and ATV, DTV or
ATV.
Scan Type (only for Tuning Mode DTV and ATV
or DTV mode):
Press  or  to select Quick Scan or Full Scan.
The Quick Scan is a simplifi ed version of the
Full Scan that is designed to complete in less
time.
