Chapter 3: Operating the IP Handset
To create a new Wireless network profile
Normally a new profile is automatically created when you connect to an access
point. If needed, you can define a profile for an access point that is not
currently within reach.
To create a new Wireless network profile, do
as follows:
1. From the Wireless network list, select
Options (left select).
2. Select Manage.
3. Select Add profile.
4. Type in the SSID of the access point.
5. Select OK.
A new profile is now created
6. Enter the security information for the
access point. For further information, see To edit a Wireless network profile
on page 64.
To see memory usage in the list of Wireless network profiles
To see the number of stored profiles and the
maximum allowed number of profiles, do as
follows:
1. From the Wireless network list, select
Options (left select).
2. Select Manage.
3. Select Memory usage.
