Printing is too Slow

❏ Make sure the label type selected in the printer driver is appropriate for the type of disc
loaded in the product.
& See "Publishing Discs" on page 24.
❏ Close any unnecessary applications.
❏ Make sure the checkbox for High Speed is checked in the printer driver.
❏ If you print continuously for an extended period, the discs may temporarily stop feeding
or the printing may pause for a while. This is to slow down the printing speed and
prevent the product mechanism from overheating and being damaged. If this happens,
you can continue to print, but we recommend stopping and leaving the product for about
thirty minutes with the power on. (The product will recover after about 3 hours with the
power off.) After you restart, the product will print at normal speed.
❏ Uninstall the printer driver, then reinstall it.
& See "Uninstalling Software" on page 23.

Ink Adheres to the Recording Surface

❏ Depending on the type of disc, ink may adhere to the recording surfaces if they are
stacked right after printing. Make sure of the type of disc before using.
❏ Keep the printed surface of the disc away from other discs until ink on the printed disc
is completely dry, otherwise marks or smudges may be left at the area where discs
come into contact.
