1 SET●LOCK
[ ] Set, Lock Switch
● Press to enter Set mode.
● Press and hold for 1 sec. to switch the
Lock function On or Off.

DIAL
[ ] Tuning Dial
Turn to select operating frequency, memory
channel, setting for Set mode item, or
scanning direction.

VOL
[ ] Volume Control
Turn to adjust audio.

PWR
[ ] Power Switch
Press and hold 1 sec. to turn power On/Off.

Microphone Connector
Connects the HM-133 microphone.

SQL
[ ] Squelch Control
Turn to adjust squelch level.

MONI●DTMF
[ ] Monitor, DTMF
● Press to switch the Monitor funct. On/Off.
● During analog operation, press and hold
for 1 second to turn DTMF memory
encoder On or Off.
● During digital operation, press and hold to
turn the EMR function On or Off.

LOW●DUP
[ ] Output Power, Duplex Switch
● Press to change the power output level.
● Press and hold for 1 sec. to select
between DUP-, DUP+, and Simplex
operation.

9 TONE●T-SCAN
[ ]
● During analog operation, press to select a
Tone function.
● During digital operation, press to select a
digital Squelch function.
● During digital operation, press and hold to
turn the Break-in function On or Off.

M/CALL●PRIO
[ ] Memory/Call, Priority Sw.
● Press to select between memory, Call, and
Weather Channel modes.
● Press and hold for 1 sec. to start the
Priority Watch operation.

V/MHz●SCAN
[ ] VFO/MHz Tuning, Scan Sw.
● Press to select between VFO mode and 1
MHz Tuning mode.
● Press and hold 1 sec. to start/stop scan.

BAND●MODE
[ ] Band Switch
● During VFO op., press to select the
operating frequency.
● During Call Channel op., press to select
between call channels 1 or 2.
● During Memory Channel op., press to
select memory bank condition.
● Press and hold for 1 sec. then turn to
select operating mode.

[ ] Memory Write Switch
● Press to select a memory channel for
programming.
● Press and hold for 1 sec. to program a
memory channel.
