BIIS 1200 OPERATION

■ Setting example
The followng key functons are recommended to be as-
sgned to each programmable key for the BIIS 1200 opera-
ton. The key functon can be assgned by your dealer. Ask
your dealer for detals.
NOTE: Durng BIIS 1200 operaton, MDC 1200 system,
LTR ® , and IDAS operatons are not avalable.
[Call] : Push to transmt a BIIS call when the se-
lected channel s an MSK channel.
• "CALL" s dsplayed on the key ndcator.
[BIIS Button] : Push to select the call lst ID/transmt
message, or push to dsplay the receve
message record for selecton.
• "BIIS" s dsplayed on the key ndcator.
[TX Code Enter] : Push to enter the ID code edt mode d-
• "TXCE" s dsplayed on the key ndcator.
[Moni(Audi)] : Push ths key after the communcaton to
send a 'Clear down' sgnal durng MSK
channel operaton.
[CH Up]/[Down] : Durng stand-by operaton, push to select
the operatng channel.
After pushng [BIIS Button] or [TX Code
CH Enter], push to select call lst or TX
code channel, respectvely.

• Beeps sound.

• The programmed text message (e.g."CALLING") and the call-

a normal voce level.

e Release [PTT] to return to receve.
• BUSY ndcator lghts green whle recevng a sgnal.
r To finsh the conversaton, push [Moni(Audi)] to send the
'Clear down' sgnal.
• Ether staton can send a 'Clear down' sgnal.
• "CLR DOWN" s dsplayed for 2 sec. (approx.).
• " " dsappears and the transcever returns to stand-by opera-
ton.
