IDAS OPERATION
D Transmitting a Call Alert
Call Alert allows you to notfy another user who may be away
from the transcever that you want to talk.
q Push [Digital Button] to enter the applcaton selecton
mode.
• "VOICE" appears.
• To change the call type, push and hold [Digital Button] for 1 sec.
durng stand-by operaton. After changng, the transcever en-
ters the applcaton selecton mode automatcally.
w Push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select "CALALERT."
e Push [Digital Button] agan to enter the Indvdual or
Talkgroup ID selecton mode.
• The pre-programmed ID name s dsplayed.
• When ID name s not programmed, ID code s dsplayed.
r Push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select the desred ID
name (or ID code).
• Dependng on the pre-settng, you can nput the ID drectly.

lected staton or talkgroup.
• "CA CALL" s dsplayed.
y Release [PTT].
• "CA OK" s dsplayed after recevng an acknowledgement from
the targeted staton.
• "CA FAIL" s dsplayed f the targeted staton does not receve
the sgnal or send back an acknowledgement.
u After a specfied tme perod has passed, the transcever
wll return to receve.
