Additional features
To configure a Feature Key to initiate an IM to a contact, press the
Context-sensitive soft key, select
Keys from the menu.
To create a Send IM feature key:

1. To select a feature key to use to speed
dial a contact do one of the following:
— Press the
to highlight the feature key to use to
initiate an IM and press the
Context-sensitive soft key.
— Press the
to set up as a Send IM feature key
and press the
soft key.
2. Press the Up/Down
highlight Send IM
shortcuts.
3. Press the Select
key to select Send IM.
Press the Back
key to return to the previous step.
4. Press the abc/123
key to toggle between alphabetic and
numeric characters.
