3.6 Additional Dialing Information

Make an emergency call
Enter the international emergency number for your locale, and press the
TALK/SEND button on your device.
Tip
To make an emergency call when the device is locked
When the device lock feature is
enabled, you need to unlock the
device before you can make an
emergency call.
1.
Unlock the device by tapping
Unlock, then tapping the
Unlock button on the screen.
2.
Press the TALK/SEND button,
dial the emergency number
(for example, 000) and press the
TALK/SEND button.
Make an international call
1.
Tap and hold the number 0 key on the Phone screen until the plus (+)
sign appears.
The plus (+) sign replaces the international prefix of the country that
you are calling.
2.
Enter the full phone number you want to dial, and press the
TALK/SEND button on your device. The full phone number includes the
country code, area code (without the leading zero, if any), and phone
number.
Additional emergency numbers may be included in your SIM card. Contact
your wireless service provider for details.
