To delete an entry or all entries

Changing the format of the caller ID number

If you need to add or remove the area code or a 1

at the beginning of the number, do the following.
1. Follow the directions in steps 1 and 2 of To
return a call (page 54). Press [ENTER].
2. Press [ ] or [ ] until the screen displays DIAL
ALTERNATE.
3. Press [ ] to scroll through the alternate dialing
formats displayed on the third line (seven-digit
number, area code + seven-digit number, 1 +
area code + seven-digit number, or 1 + seven-

digit number).
4. Press a [LINE] key to dial the displayed number.

To remove a specific entry

Use the following steps to remove a specific entry.

1. Press [CALL HISTORY].
2. Press [ ] or [ ] until you see the desired entry
to be deleted.
3. Press [REMOVE], also called the "entry removal
button", to delete the currently displayed entry

from the call history. The screen displays the
previous record in call history. If there are no
records in call history, the screen displays the
summary screen 000 CALLS 000 NEW.
4. Press [CALL HISTORY] to exit.

To remove all call summary entries

Use the following steps to remove all entries.
1. Press [CALL HISTORY].
2. Press [REMOVE] to show REMOVE ALL?
3. Press [REMOVE] again within three seconds
to confirm and delete all records from the call
summary.
-OR-
Press [CALL HISTORY] to exit and leave all
caller ID entries intact.
The screen automatically returns to the call
history summary. Once deleted, you cannot
retrieve entries.
