    Making and answering calls This phone comes programmed to use line 1 (default prime line) for calls when you do not press a line button. To change the prime line, see the PRIME LINE section of your installation guide. When you answer a call, the phone automatically selects the ringing line.

    Conference calls Use this feature to set up a three-party call by using two lines at the same time. You can also join an intercom call with a call on an outside line. The outside line call must be established first, because an intercom call cannot be put on hold.
