5. Before loading the paper, make sure
the edge is cut cleanly—at a 90
degree angle in each corner—to
ensure proper loading. If necessary,
trim the edge using a straight-edge
tool or triangle.
Make sure that the end of the roll paper is cut perpendicular to the
edges. A diagonal cut may cause paper feed problems.
6. If necessary, uncurl the paper. Locate the uncurling sheet that came inside the
printer box. Insert the paper inside the uncurling sheet, and roll it in the direction
opposite to the paper's curl. (This step is especially important with wider roll
paper.)
