Using Custom Color Management Profiles

If you're printing from the full version of Adobe Photoshop or another application
that lets you use custom color management profiles, you need to turn off your printer
software's color management profile to get accurate results. If you use a custom profile
but leave color management turned on in your printer software, your colors won't be
correct. To turn off color management, follow these steps:
1. Start your application and open the file you want to print.
2. Load your color management profile.
For example, if you're using Adobe Photoshop 5.5, select Image >
Mode > Profile to Profile. For From, select your image's source color
space. For To, select your custom profile (the color space to which
you want to convert the image).
3. To turn off your printer software color management, access your main printer
software dialog box; see page 9 (for Windows) or page 16 (for Macintosh).
