DISPLAY INTENSITY
Pressing this button varies the brightness of the display . Four brightness lev-
els are available.
When the Nº31.5's main power switch is first turned on (or when power is
restored after an interruption), the display is automatically set to its second-
brightest level.
Pressing
display intensity
dims it further; pressing it again turns the display off. Pressing
tensity
once more returns the display to its brightest level.
also affects the Nº31.5's front-panel LEDs. When the display

is turned off, however, the LEDs still glow dimly .

DISPLAY MODE
This button allows you to change the type of information shown in the

portion of the display . (See Display.)
When a CD is loaded and ready for play, the
