Room-Tuning
Unfortunately normal rooms are often not perfect from a
sonic point of view. This can be heard in the appearance of
"standing waves" which yields an uneven balance in the tone.
This means that the bass may sound very different from one
room to another.
By using the supplied bass plugs in the bass reflex gates, you
can alter the sonic characteristics of the woofer to suit your
room and your personal taste.
The plugs are mounted in the bass reflex gates.
Without the plugs present:
This mode provides a tight bass.
With the plug present in the gate:
This will provide a less deep bass with a more mellow tone.
You will have to be patient when testing out the optimal
adjustments for your own room and taste. Also have in mind
that the placement in the room is of great importance.
