locking pin is loose and that the saw head
moves freely up and down. ENSURE that
all clamps and locks are tightly in place,
and that there is no excessive play in any
parts.

To prevent your miter saw from sliding,
falling or tipping during operation, the saw
must be permanently mounted to a firm,
stable supporting surface, such as a
workbench or piece of plywood.
Four bolt holes have been provided in
the saw base (one in each corner) for
mounting purposes.

OPERATION

Use machine bolts, lock washers and hex
nuts (not included) in to securely fasten the
saw to the supporting surface.
Bolts should be long enough to fit through
the saw base, lock washers, hex nuts and
the thickness of the workbench or plywood.
Tighten all four bolts securely. Position
the saw and workbench to allow adequate
room for crosscutting long workpieces.
Carefully
check
mounting the saw to make sure that no
movement can occur during use. If any
tipping, sliding or walking is noted, secure
the workbench to the floor before operating.
If mounting the miter saw to plywood, be
sure to clamp the plywood to a worktable or
bench, or place the plywood on a flat stable
surface before operating the saw.

Lock-off button
For safety, the ON/OFF switch is designed
to prevent accidental starts. To operate the
safety switch: pull the Lock-OFF button to
disengage the lock, depress the ON/OFF
switch trigger and then releas e the Lock-OFF
button.
When the ON/OFF switch trigger is released,
the Lock-OFF button will automatically
engage the safety switch.
