Trouble Shooting (cont)
Symptom
HD radio station
quality fluctuates
or is lost randomly.
I hear the iPod or
HD Radio but the
separate screen
does not display
the information.
Cause
The HD tuner is
temporarily losing
reception of the
Digital HD radio
broadcast signal.
The PGHFD1A
harness is required
for vehicles
equipped with
a separate LCD
screen.
Remedy
This is expected performance. The
digital HD radio playback will resume
in areas of higher broadcast signal
strength.
Install the PGHFD1A harness as
described on page 4.
