Safely Remove Screen
Purpose: Use this screen to safely remove USB storage devices connected to the router's
USB port(s).

Purpose: Use this screen's formatting and restoring commands to delete all data on the
internal storage drive.
WARNING!
We strongly recommend that you back up important files to
another storage device before executing these commands.

AFP (Apple Filing Protocol Screen)
Purpose: Enable the AFP server for sharing files using Mac operating systems.
Enable AFP Server

Select to enable public access (no authentication) to the
shares/services. Selected by default.
Files sharing service among local network client devices using
the Samba protocol.
USB port on the router to which the storage device is
connected.
Click the Show button to display the number of the port (1 or
2) to which the storage device is attached.
Select to enable user account authentication access to the
private share and FTP service.
To restrict access, enter the username of the person being
granted access to the private share and FTP service.
A group of related computers on a LAN that share resources.
Configure your router and local networking devices to the
same Workgroup name to share resources.
Click the button to the right of the USB device name on the
table to safely detach the USB storage drive.
Click Format to erase all content on the user partition of the
internal storage drive.
Click Restore to restore the internal drive to its original
factory configuration. It is best to use Restore only if you
suspect the system file is corrupted.
To enable the AFP server, toggle to On. Required for Apple
Time Machine support.
