In extreme bitter cold weather we recommend you
program the circulation pump to run 24 hours. Refer to
the "Winterizing" section on page 39.
To set a time for the first filtration/heating cycle, simply turn power on
to the spa two minutes prior to the desired time. Example: If you desire
your first filtration/heating cycle to begin at 10:00 AM turn off power to
the spa and turn it back on again at 9:58 AM. Start time is approximate
and may vary slightly from day to day.
For Certa, Chelsee, Hamilton and Montclair models:
The recommended factory default setting is 8 hours. This setting should
not be altered to run for less than 8 hours. Running the circulation pump
less than the factory recommended time would result in issues with
water quality maintenance.
Note: If the circulation pump filtration cycle is interrupted or turned
off the duration of the cycle will not be extended once spa functions
resume. Example: If the spa is set to cycle for 8 hours and only runs
for 2 hours before the interruption, once functions resume it will not
continue to cycle for another 6 hours, if the 8-hour cycle time has
expired.
For Dover models:
The recommended factory default setting is 24 hours. This setting
should not be altered. Running the circulation pump less than the
factory recommended time would result in issues with water quality
maintenance.
