POWER TILT SWITCH
The power tilt switch located on the

MANUAL RELIEF VALVE
If the power trim/tilt switch will not tilt
the outboard motor, the motor can be
manually tilted up or down by operating
the manual relief valve. To tilt the
outboard motor manually, turn the
manual relief valve under the left stem
bracket no more than 1 or 2 turns
counterclockwise, using a screwdriver.
After tilting the motor, turn the manual
relief valve clockwise securely. The
manual relief valve must be tightened
securely before operating the motor, or
the motor could tilt up when operating
in reverse.
