Remove the two HM5.0×9.0 screw locks (2) that secure the top cover to the computer.

Turn the computer right-side up, with the front toward you.

Disconnect the TouchPad cable (1) from the system board.

NOTE:
Disconnect the fingerprint reader board cable (2) from the system board.

Remove the microphone (3) from the clip built into the top cover and remove the microphone cable
