- Page 3 Installation During rough-in, install two 1/2” female threaded fittings, recessed 3/16” behind the surface of the finished wall. The fittings should be 6 3/4” apart on center. Flush the hot and cold supplies thoroughly. Wrap the threads on the offset adapters with Teflon thread tape.
