Installation

Turning on the Power

1. Power up your source components.
2. Connect an active, 1080p source to the HDMI 1 input on the Dimension Digital
Controller if you have not already done so.
The HDMI 1 input must be connected to an active 1080p source

for the optical alignment procedure that you will perform later.
3. Turn on the main power switch at the rear of the Dimension Digital Controller.
Leave the AC power switch on the anamorphic lens transport in

4. Press the ON button on the remote control (or the ON/STANDBY (
the Dimension Digital Controller front panel) to turn on the system. The vacuum
fluorescent display on the Dimension Digital Controller front panel briefly displays
"Initializing System," followed by "Starting D-73d."
5. When the display is ready for use, the fluorescent display indicates the active
source, input resolution/frame rate and aspect ratio; for example:

6. Select the HDMI 1 source using either the Dimension Digital Controller remote
control unit (see Figure 2-6) or the OSD menu (press MENU, then select Input
Source -> HDMI 1).
