Using the displays

Your camera has two displays:
Microdisplay in the
pictures and video clips using
Capture
menu
Image
Display—Allows you to frame pictures and video
clips using
Playback, and to view all the menus
NOTE
Using the Image Display consumes a lot of battery
power. To preserve batteries, use the microdisplay instead.
To activate
Live View
Microdisplay, simply look through the viewfinder. The
eye-start sensor below the viewfinder detects that you are
looking through the viewfinder and automatically turns on
the microdisplay.
