When you've laid out a schedule with a full week's worth of programming in Signage
Manager Express, a complete set of playback instructions are automatically gener-
ated for the media player in plain-text SMIL. If you have XML or website HTML expe-
rience, you can examine this code to familiarize yourself with how a SMIL playlist is
put together. And just like how different HTML web editors are available for the task,
there are many SMIL tools and resources adopted and developed by Adobe, Apple,
Real Networks, Microsoft, and more.
