Introduction

This chapter introduces the CDA-RES and its GUI (Graphical User Interface).

CDA-RES Overview

Your CDA-RES is a cable modem that allows you to connect your computers and to the
Internet via the cable connection.
Computers with a wired connection to the Hitron CDA-RES User's Guide are on the
Local Area Network (LAN) and the CDA-RES connects to the service provider over the
Wide Area Network (WAN).
