US wall outlets in a home or office. ProLiant DL servers are primarily connected to PDU's in data center
racks so they ship standard with only a PDU power cord (416151-B21). If a user wishes to power a
ProLiant DL server using a standard wall receptacle (NEMA-15), the NEMA power cord must be ordered

HP's Common Slot (CS) Power Supply bay design provides the customer with commonality in power
supplies across multiple platforms, saving on the cost of spares and allows HP to offer multiple power
solutions to fit the customers' needs. Many HP ProLiant Servers come with high-efficiency CS Power
Supplies. HP's new CS power supplies are designed to provide power efficiency without degrading
performance of the ProLiant. Power Supplies will have efficiency ratings up to 94%. There are multiple
CS power output options available allowing you to "right-size" the most appropriate power supply option
for your server configuration. Check the Power Supplies section for power sizes supported. To make sure
you select the correct power supply to meet your configuration, we suggest that you use the HP Power
Advisor to "right-size" a power supply option for your configuration. All HP Common Slot power sources
are UL, CE Mark Compliant, Hot Plug and support redundant configurations. The HP Power Advisor is
