Use a two-hand wrench method when tightening fittings or piping onto the boiler connectors. Use one wrench to prevent the boiler pipes from twisting and the second wrench to tighten the fitting or piping.

An external trap is not required when connecting the field drain to flexible discharge tubing. Discharge tubing (field supplied) must be of 1” diameter. Use CPVC, PVC or other material approved by codes listed below.
