Setting the beep sound

You can set the recorder so that it will make a beep sound when you operate the buttons or if you
make an operational error.
1.
Press the [MENU/ENTER] button for at least two (2) seconds
while the main screen is displayed, press the [VOL +/–] buttons to
select [COMMON MENU]  [BEEP SOUND], then press the
[MENU/ENTER] button.

Press the [VOL +/–] buttons to select [ON], then press the
[MENU/ENTER] button.
3.
Press the [VOL +/–] buttons to select the desired volume option ,
then press the [MENU/ENTER] button.
To cancel the beep sound, select [OFF] in step 2.
HIGH:
MIDDLE: Medium volume
LOW:

Settings related to remote control operation

You can set the recorder so that the supplied remote control will be locked (disabled). You can
also set the recorder so that the LED indicator will flash green when the recorder receives a signal
from the remote control.
1.
Press the [MENU/ENTER] button for at least two (2) seconds
while the main screen is displayed, press the [VOL +/–] buttons to
select [COMMON MENU]  [REMOTE], then press the [MENU/
ENTER] button.
Locking (disabling) remote control operation:

Press the [VOL +/–] buttons to select [REMOTE LOCK], then press the [MENU/
ENTER] button.
3.
Press the [VOL +/–] buttons to select [LOCK], then press the
[MENU/ENTER] button.
To unlock (enable) the remote control, select [REMOTE ON].
