PR-1 APPLICATIONS GUIDE

. Recording a Piano along with another instrument or
vocalist using the MIC setting for the LINE/MIC inputs
Make sure that the piano microphones are connected correctly
(see pg.8 & 36-40 for more detail).
1 Connect a microphone to one of the LINE/MIC Jacks.
MIC1, MIC2 either is okay.
2 Switch the LINE/MIC switch to MIC.
3 Adjust the microphone's volume level with the LEVEL
knob. Use the level indicator on the front panel to adjust
the signal level for the best sound (see pg.14 for more
detail). If necessary, adjust the LEVEL knob of the PI-
ANO MIC IN (see pg.9 for more detail). Adjust the bal-
ance between the piano and microphone by listening with
headphones.
4 If necessary, while listening with headphones adjust the
microphone's left/right panning. You can set the panning
of MIC1 and MIC2 individually (see pg.23, 24 for more
detail).

semble using the LINE setting for the LINE/MIC inputs
Make sure that the piano microphones are connected cor-
rectly (see pg.8 & 36 - 40 for more detail).
1 Connect the output from the instrument/s to the LINE/
MIC IN.
2 Switch the LINE/MIC switch to LINE.
3 Adjust the external instrument's volume level with the
LEVEL knob. Use the level indicator on the front panel to
adjust the signal level for the best sound (see pg.14 for
more detail). If necessary, adjust the LEVEL knob of the
PIANO MIC IN (see pg.9 for more detail). Adjust the
balance between the piano and other instrument sounds
by listening with headphones.
4 If necessary, while listening with headphones adjust the
microphone's left/right panning. You can set the panning
of MIC1 and MIC2 individually (see pg.23, 24 for more
detail). When connecting stereo instruments such as an
electronic keyboard, setting the panning to (LINE L =
L10, LINE R = R10) will usually sound best. Please feel
free to experiment.
