. EQ Button Menu
* Press EQ button. The button will light and the various parameters in the EQ menu will be displayed.
* Press the EQ button repeatedly to advance through the menu.
* To change the value for the selected parameter, use the "+ YES", "– NO" buttons.
* When you are finished making your settings, press the BACK button to go back to main screen. The EQ button
light will turn off.
The following parameters are assigned to the EQ button.
1) EQ SETTING
2) PIANO PANORAMA
3) PIANO NOISE GATE
4) LINE IN/MIC. TREBLE
5) LINE IN/MIC. BASS
6) LINE L/MIC.1
7) LINE R/MIC.1
8) LINE/MIC IN NOISE GATE
9) ANTI-FEEDBACK
10) SWITCH LINE OUT PHASE
1) EQ SETTING
The sound character can be adjusted for any sound or signal that is recorded from the piano microphones or from the
LINE/MIC INPUT jacks using the PR-1's built in EQ. (The PR-1 EQ cannot be used to adjust the sound character of a CD
that is already recorded).
The EQ can be used to adjust the tone character of a particular sound to your taste.
Press the EQ button. The button will light and the display will show the following information.
PIANO MIC
TONE
The first EQ setting will be CONCERT 1.
The PR-1 has 10 different preset EQ settings that adjust the sound character of the piano microphones. Experiment with
the 10 different settings by listening to each one with headphones or external speakers to find the best setting.
Use the "+ YES" or "– NO" buttons to select the desired EQ setting.
The specific settings for each preset EQ are as described in the table below.

Concert 1 Rich BASS and deep MIDDLE sound
Concert 2
Concert 3
Concert 4 With this setting, sound projection is emphasized
Concert 5 BASS is raised compared to Concert 4, emphasizing sound transmission
Studio 1
Dynamic BASS and clear TREBLE
Studio 2
BASS/TREBLE are emphasized more than Studio 1
Studio 3
BASS/TREBLE are emphasized even more than Studio 2
Studio 4
BASS is reduced for better blending with an ensemble
Studio 5
For use with more unique ensembles than Studio 4
