- Page 5 Tubes: The Badger 18 tube compliment consists of two EL84 power tubes, three 12AX7 preamp tubes and one 5Y3GT* rectifier tube. When replacing the rectifier tube, we require you change it with a new 5Y3GT. Using the 5Y3GT will ensure your Badger’s internal voltages operate properly.
