I Addition of LAN adapter
When this PC is operated as a client and a LAN adapter is added, the adapter cannot be used
simultaneously with the standard LAN function.
To use several LAN adapters at the same time, a server OS such as Windows NT 4.0 Server and
Windows 2000 Server is required.
I Wake up On LAN
By selecting [Power-saving settings]-[Auto Wake up] and setting [Wake up On LAN] to [Enable],
the PC can be turned on via LAN (WOL: Wake up On LAN).
I Precautions on using display
Under the following conditions, the screen may be distorted or display horizontal lines. This should
not be considered faulty.
G When Windows is started or closed.
G When the PC is entering the standby mode or returning to the original state.
G When the resolution, number of colors, or refresh rate of the screen changed.
G When the screen is changed (ex. to the full screen or to the original state).
G When the PC is entering the pause mode or returning to the original state.
I Adjustment of analog display screen position
For an analog display, the BIOS Setup or MS-DOS screen may be displayed in a wrong position
on the 640 x 480 (60Hz) Windows screen after the position is adjusted using the display. In this
case, adjust the position on each screen.
I Display of video memory capacity
Although the video memory capacity is not displayed correctly in [Display Properties], it should
not be considered faulty.
I Power-saving function of display (Windows 95 model)
When the power-saving function of the display is set to "Shut off monitor" or "Low-Power Standby",
the suspend function is not available.
I Power saving of display
For Windows 95 model
If a display used does not support the power-saving function, open [Advanced Properties] in the
[Display Properties] dialog box and uncheck [Monitor is Energy Star compliant] in the [Monitor]
tab.
For Windows 98 model
When a display used does not support the power-saving function, set both [System standby] and
[Shut off monitor] in the [Power control properties] dialog box to [Disable].
