JIPMB1 (H8DCL-6/iF only)
A System Management Bus header for the
IPMI slot is located at IPMB. Connect the
appropriate cable here to use the IPMB I2C
connection on your system.
Chassis Intrusion
A Chassis Intrusion header is located at JL1.
Attach the appropriate cable to inform you of
a chassis intrusion.
Overheat LED
Connect an LED to the JOH1 header to
provide warning of chassis overheating. See
the table on the right for pin defi nitions.
LAN1/2 (Ethernet Ports)
Three Gigabit Ethernet ports (designated
LAN1 and LAN2) are located beside the
VGA port. Additionally, for the H8DCL-i/6(F)
serverboard, there is a dedicated LAN for
IPMI on top of the two rear USB ports. These
Ethernet ports accept RJ45 type cables.
Serial Ports
The COM1 serial port is located beside the
VGA port. Refer to the motherboard layout
for the location of the COM2 header. See the
table on the right for pin defi nitions.
