6. Lift the power supply away from the chassis.

Replacing the Power Supply (Desktop Chassis)

1. Insert the chassis pivot pin on the right rear of the power supply into the chassis socket.
2. Rotate the right side of the power supply toward the chassis.
The right pivot pin inserts into the chassis slot. See
3. Press the right side of the power supply down until the pivot pin snaps into the chassis slot.
4. Connect the power supply cables to the system board.
5. Connect the power supply cables to all drives.
6. Rotate the power supply back into position until the securing tab snaps into the release latch.

To access some of the components on the system board, you may need to rotate the system power supply out of the way.
CAUTION:
Before you perform this procedure, see
1. Turn off the computer and peripherals, disconnect them from their electrical outlets, wait at least 5 seconds, and then
2. Ensure that the AC power cable is disconnected from the AC power receptacle on the back of the power supply. See
