Ventilation

Ensure that the back of the coffee
machine is sufficiently ventilated so that
steam and warm air can dissipate
freely.
The ventilation gaps in the furniture
housing unit and the gap between
the top of the housing unit and the
ceiling must be at least 200 cm
Otherwise condensation can build up
and damage the machine or the
housing unit.

Installation

Before installation make sure that
there is no power supply to the
machine. This also applies should it
ever need to be taken out of its
housing unit.
The machine must be built in before
it is operated. It is designed for use
in ambient temperatures ranging
from +10 °C to +38 °C.
You will need two allen keys (size 3
and 5) for installing the machine.
To align the machine front with the
furniture front ensure that there is a
sealing strip provided all the way
around the building-in niche or around
the coffee machine.

^ If the housing unit niche is not fitted
with a sealing strip you should fit a
Miele sealing strip to the machine
before installing it. This is fitted from
the back of the machine.
This sealing strip is available to order
from Miele.
