2.9 Additional items required for operating the tool For the WSC 70 A36: a B36/2.4 NiCd battery and a C7/36 ACS charger or a B36/3.3 Li-ion battery and a C4/36Li ACS charger. For the WSC 55 A24: a B24/2.0 NiCd battery and a C7/24 or C7/36 ACS charger. NOTE Depending on the version, these items may be supplied with the power tool.

CAUTION Wear protective gloves when changing blades. The blade, the clamping flange and the clamping screw get hot. CAUTION Check that the blade to be fitted complies with the technical requirements and that it is well sharpened. A sharp saw blade is an essential re- quirement for a perfect cut.

If use of the power tool continues, further battery discharge will be stopped automatically before the battery cells suffer damage. Charge the battery with the Hilti charger approved for use with Li-ion batteries. NOTE - A conditioning charge (as is required with NiCd or NiMH batteries) is not necessary.
