Transition Parameter

Transition Default DMX Value: 0 = Image A layer is fully visible
After you select a pattern option in the Transition Mode parameter, the Transition parameter
defines the transition between Image A and Image B.
For DMX values = 0 to 126 (49), Image A is "in front" of Image B and fully visible. At a DMX
value = 128 (50%), Image A and Image B are both fully visible. DMX values above 50% place
Image B in front.

Transitions and Color Transparency

Knowing the type of transition mode you have selected will help you interpret the color
transparency effect. The following examples show the relationship between the transparency
function and the transition type.

Transparency with Opacity Transitions

Opacity Transitions place the
two image layers on the same
plane. Transparent colors on
either Image Layer will only
reveal the background color (if
applied).

Transparency with Reveal Transitions

Reveal Transitions simulate the
placement one layer in front of
the other. Colors in an image
defined as transparent on the
front image layer will reveal
the other image layer. When
the transition channel is a DMX
0 Image Layer A is in front of
layer B. At DMX 255 Image
Layer B is in front of layer A.
