5 Maintaining the BM325

5.1 Upgrading the BM325

When you upgrade the BM325, do not unplug and re-plug the BM325 and ensure
power supply to the device.
You need to restart the BM325 after the upgrade is completed. Wait patiently for a
while.
There are two methods to upgrade the BM325, including local upgrade and remote
upgrade.

5.1.1 Local Upgrade

Use the upgrade file delivered by the ISP for local upgrade. To perform the local upgrade,
do as follows:
Step 1
Start the BWA Partner and click Tools.
Step 2
Click Location Upgrade.
Step 3
Click Browse to choose an upgrade file on local.
Step 4
Click Upgrade Software to initiate local upgrade. The upgrade progress is displayed in
the progress bar.
In Version Info, the device version number indicates the software version number before the
upgrade and the upgrade version number indicates the software version number after the
upgrade.

5.1.2 Remote Upgrade

To perform the remote upgrade, do as follows:
Step 1
Start the BWA Partner and click Tools.
Step 2
Click Remote Upgrade.
Step 3
Enter the Universal Resource Locator (URL) specified by the ISP in URL.
Step 4
Click Remote Upgrade to initiate remote upgrade. The upgrade progress is displayed in
the progress bar.
In Version Info, the source version number indicates the software version number before the
upgrade and the upgrade version number indicates the software version number after the
upgrade.
