turns on full bright for the ON-TIME (1, 5, or 20 minutes)
then returns to dim mode.

There are three lamp modes (light turn-on effects) avail-
able when motion is detected:
• NORMAL - Light instantly comes on.
• SOFT - Light starts dim and gradually increases to full
brightness. Light gradually dims to half-bright, pauses,
and then continues dimming to off when motion is no
longer detected and after selected ON-TIME.
• FLASH - Light flashes on then off twice before turning
on full brightness.

INSTALLATION NOTE: If fixture is mounted higher than 8 ft. (2.4 m), aiming the sensor down will reduce coverage distance. For under eave installation, the sensor head must be rotated as shown in the next two steps for proper opera- tion and to avoid the risk of electrical shock. For eave mount only: ❒ Swing the sensor head towards the clamp screw joint. Clamp Screw ❒ Then rotate the sensor head clockwise 180° so the controls face down. Controls Controls If the sensor pops out of the ball joint, loosen the clamp screw and push the sensor back into the ball joint. Tighten the clamp screw when done. These instructions show the sensor wired to floodlamps. The white sensor wire is neutral. The black sensor wire is hot. The red wire is the switched “hot” wire. The lighting load (300 Watts, 2.5 A max. incandescent only) is placed across the white and red wires. -

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE SYMPTOM Lights will not come on. Lights come on in daylight. Lights come on for no appar- ent reason. Lights turn off too late in Dusk- to-Dawn setting Lights stay on continuously. Lights flash on and off. - Page 12 MODES D’ÉCLAIRAGE Trois modes d’éclairage (façon dont l’éclairage se déclen- che) sont proposés lorsqu’un mouvement est détecté : • NORMAL – L’éclairage s’allume instantanément. • DOUX (SOFT) – L’éclairage s’allume à faible intensité, et celle-ci s’accroît graduellement jusqu’à l’intensité normale. L’intensité décroît ensuite graduellement jus- qu’à la mi-puissance, fait une pause, puis continue de diminuer jusqu’à la fermeture totale lorsque le détecteur cesse de déceler un mouvement ou lorsque la durée de fonctionnement (ON-TIME) est écoulée. • CLIGNOTEMENT (FLASH) – L’éclairage clignote deux fois avant de demeurer allumé à pleine puissance. INSTALLATION NOTE : Lorsque le luminaire est installé à une hauteur supérieure à 8 pi (2,4 m), le fait de diriger le détecteur vers le bas réduit la portée de la couverture. Pour l'installation sous avant-toit, la tête du détecteur doit être tournée comme indiqué aux deux étapes ci- dessous pour assurer le bon fonctionnement et éviter les risques de choc électrique.
