REFRACTORIES FOR CB & CD SERIES
These refractories are intended for use with the Caliber CB Series B-Vent and CD Series Direct Vent gas appliances. Refer to the installa-
tion instructions supplied with the appliance for the correct accessories to be used. If you encounter any problems regarding code approv-
als or if you need clarifi cation of the instructions contained here, contact your local distributor/dealer or the Heatilator Technical Services

CAUTION:
Install this refractory only after the appliance has
cooled and the gas and electricity have been shut
off.

    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS REFRACTORIES FOR CB & CD SERIES WTBC36BB and WTBC42BB - B-vent Refractory WTBC36DB and WTBC42DB - Direct Vent Refractory These refractories are intended for use with the Caliber CB Series B-Vent and CD Series Direct Vent gas appliances. Refer to the installa- tion instructions supplied with the appliance for the correct accessories to be used.
  • Page 2 Shut off the electricity to the appliance and turn the gas shutoff valve to the closed position. See Figure 1. Remove the screen and glass from the appliance. Figure 1 - Gas Shutoff Valve Lift the two top logs off the log set. See Figure 2. Remove the grate/log assembly by removing the two screws as shown in Figure 2.
