Using the USB Memory

You can copy Setup files (p. 64) and song files to separately sold USB memory for safekeeping.
You can also play back SMF music files that are saved on USB memory, or play audio files from USB memory (p. 51).
Use USB memory sold by Roland. We cannot guarantee operation if other products are used.

Connecting the USB Memory

Connect your USB memory to the USB Memory connector (p. 14) located on jack panel 2.
Carefully insert the USB memory all the way in, until it is firmly in place.

Never insert or remove a USB memory while this unit's power is on. Doing so may corrupt the unit's data or the data on the USB
memories.

If you're using new USB memory, you must first initialize (format) it on the V-Piano Grand. For details, refer to "Formatting
Internal Memory or USB Memory (Format)" (p. 69).
